What it's all about...

Hi! I'm Valerie.  The hats that I wear include wife, friend, and Quality Improvement Specialist at a social service agency. Through this blog, I am trying on the writer hat too. As soon as I learned how to put letters together to create words, I fell in love with writing.  I dreamed of writing books, poems, songs, and even greeting cards. 

This blog allows me to clear the path through my mind, record my journey, maybe inspire someone or at least make them laugh.   I share my thoughts, my photos, and other creations.  I named this Write to Wander because it really is a wander through my mind captured through writing and sometimes it can be random, messy, silly, but it will always be authentically me.  Because of that authenticity, I can't promise you that you will see a new post in a certain time frame but I do hope that I can fulfill a promise to you that every post I make is heartfelt and not something I hit "publish" just because it was time to post something.
